The installation consists in a waiting room, which is equipped with two rows of seats, one to the left and one to the right side of the entrance. The only focal point in the otherwise empty room is taken in by a clock, fixed on the wall above the rows of seats. Exhibition visitors enter the installation and take a seat. They sit and wait. Once in a while, a person gets up and leaves; sometimes a new persons arrives, to take a seat and wait. That's all.

On the occasion of a solo-exhibition, the conception of the installation was expanded: A large exhibition area is blocked behind its entrance area. Instead of the exhibition space which visitors would expect to find, they open a door (office door), built into the blocking walls, and enter a long corridor. Eventually, after an extended walk, they arrive at a larger waiting room. Here, one is free to stay, take a seat, sit and wait (see description above).

After a self determined waiting period, exhibition visitors leave the space on the opposite side of the room. Behind the exit door, they find another corridor, equally long as the one that lead them to the space, that eventually, after another extended walk, takes them back to the entrance area/exit of the exhibition.
